So much for that

When I taught high school history, I tried to make sure that my students were absolutely clear on one topic (amongst many): trying to take over the world is a really bad idea, especially if it involves invading Russia in the process.
Apparently my brother disagrees. (Although he probably agrees with me about Russia).
brother: I have reached the four-minion level! So... much... power!!1!
me: Haha, next up... THE WORLD!! (cue evil laugh).
brother: MmmmWAHAhahahaha, HAHAhahahaaaaa
me: You know, if you turned evil I would feel really conflicted because I would feel duty-bound to oppose. But... It's you, so yeah...
brother: Heh, well the world can hope that I don't acquire super powers, since we know which way I would go.
me: Aw MAN... You make my sisterly job and attempt at being a force for good in the world so hard!!! Also, it may be a good thing that you didn't go through with the poli-sci major...
brother: Yes. I would not have broken the law, but I would have bent it so far that you'd need to check its dental records.
me: SIGH.
(Hahaha! He's a graphic designer).

mild consternation,
bordering on dispproval

Date: 2010-07-03 12:44 pm (UTC)This makes me think of the time we got really bored at a drama club meeting, and we ended up doing a short impromptu performance of Napolean's invasion of Russia, including killing our horses, hollowing them out, and hiding inside of them for warmth. Kate Welteroth made a great dying horse...
ps: how do you get TWO mood icons at once?! Also: I LOVE your muppets theme!
I cannot get code to work today
Date: 2010-07-03 01:01 pm (UTC)Oh my gosh, your drama club! Hahaha!
I don't actually have a mood theme, as it were. When I made up the muppet theme, I didn't have an account level that would let me upload my own theme (although looking at it, it looks like we have the same level - I went up to plus a while ago. How did you upload a theme?). So I have all of my pictures on a photobucket account, and I just copy and paste them after setting up the "mood" heading, so it just looks like I do. Which means that I can put up multiple pictures! I can send you the theme if you'd like! I love the muppets soooooooo much!
PS- Doctor Who is done for the season and Merlin isn't back yet! Oh no, I don't know what to dooo!

on the right side of the screen, where it shows your current layout/theme, click "customize your theme"
then click "edit/create custom mood themes"
you have to have your mood theme images saved someplace online--photobucket is fine. then you just go in and fill in all the blanks with the image location.
i got some friends watching merlin for the first time the other night!!! unfortunately, they started w/ the second season, so they were kind of confused. i had to explain some things. lol
